Identity Defined Security Alliance, along with National Cyber Security Alliance and NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, host free virtual event
DENVER, July 14, 2021 – With the increased focus on Zero Trust, the Identity Defined Security Alliance (IDSA), National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) are joining forces to provide insights into real-world Zero Trust deployments in both the public and private sector, as well as resources available to help organizations adopt a Zero Trust approach. The free virtual event will take place on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 11-1 p.m. MDT/ 1-3 p.m. EDT.
Adopting Zero Trust, whether mandated by the Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity, or the shift to a modern security strategy to support remote work, can be tough. Attendees will learn from organizations and agencies who are well down the path of implementing Zero Trust strategies, as they share challenges, opportunities and lessons learned. Creators of leading Zero Trust reference architectures will also share resources available to help guide Zero Trust strategies, including NIST SP 800-207, Department of Defense Zero Trust Reference Architecture and The Path to Zero Trust starts with Identity.
